Volunteer at PTSW

PTSW is happy to accept volunteers from the community to help the organization meet our mission and goals. If you are interested in volunteering, please don’t hesitate to reach out to info@ptwoodschool.org to learn more about the roles we are looking for.

Our current volunteer opportunities are:

Annual Work Party 
Friday, June 28th, 2024
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm 

PTSW is looking for volunteers to help with an all hands on deck work party to deep clean and organize our workshops. No skills are required, and many hands make light work. PTSW will provide pizza and drinks to keep everyone motivated. To sign up, please send an email to Heron at heron@ptwoodschool.org. 

Wooden Boat Festival 
Friday, September 6th to Sunday, September 8th, 2024

PTSW is seeking volunteers to help staff and produce our booth at the annual wooden boat festival at Point Hudson. Tasks include moving materials from our Fort Worden shops to Point Hudson and back again, as well as staffing the booth during the festival itself. Volunteers will be given passes to the festival on the day they volunteer. Please email Heron at heron@ptwoodschool.org to sign up. 

Woodworkers Show 
Friday, November 1st to Sunday November, 3rd

PTSW is seeking volunteers to help staff and produce our booth at the annual woodworking show at the American Legion Hall in Port Townsend.
