Last Minute List
Occasionally, PTSW will have a last minute seat open up a week to a few days before a weekend or week-long course begins. We would like to share the opportunity to students with flexible schedules who are available to fill these seats through the Last Minute List. By joining the Last Minute List, you will be emailed about these opportunities and receive a tuition discount if you register for a course at the last minute.
If you’re a good fit for the Last Minute List, you are:
Located in the Port Townsend area or have the ability to travel here easily
Have a flexible schedule
Have a place to stay in the area or the ability to find one easily
Have a good number of basic woodworking tools so you would be able to have the required tools for a class
What are the benefits to the Last Minute List member?
An opportunity to take a class that might have already been full.
A 50% tuition discount. You will still have to pay the full materials and registration fee.
How does the Last Minute List work?
When we have a last-minute seat to fill, we will send out an email with a link for registration to the Last Minute List. This is usually about one week before the class begins.
We will be emailing the whole list simultaneously, so you must be the first to complete the registration to receive a spot in the class.
If someone beats you to it and the LML spot has been filled, but you are still interested in attending the class, head over to the class page and sign up for the waitlist. If there is another last-minute cancellation, our registration system, Active, will send an automated email to the waitlist to register for the class. The discount code sent to you in the original Last Minute List email will still work in this situation.
Once you sign up, you are responsible for arranging travel and accommodations for yourself in Port Townsend as well as obtaining the required tools for the class.
Once you have completed your registration there are no cancellation refunds available.
