Paul Denison

Paul built his first banjo before ever seeing a timber frame barn. Music and the folk art of instrument building led him to traditional woodcraft, and to central Vermont, where he spent several years working for a mid-sized timber frame company. Life changes carried him to Washington, and after a few years building furniture and cabinets in Seattle he moved to Chimacum and co=founded Porchlight Woodworks, a design/build company. Paul has a passion for community and teaching, and believes that learning the crafts of designing, building and repairing structures should be accessible to everyone.
