Lacey Carnahan

 Lacey Carnahan

Lacey moved to Washington from the Siskiyou Mountains in Southern Oregon to study Sculpture and Ceramics at the University of Washington. She went on to receive an AAS in Cabinetmaking from Seattle Central Community College and eventually made her way up to the Olympic Peninsula in 2014 to take PTSW’s Foundations of Woodworking course. Lacey has worked for the past 13 years building out her own shop and personal practice in Chimacum, WA, in which she focuses on cabinet, furniture, and chair commissions. She has taught woodworking with Habitat for Humanity, The Center for Wooden Boats, Ballard Woodworks, Chimacum High School, and is now on the teaching faculty with PTSW. When she’s not teaching or working in her shop you can find Lacey gardening, biking, or snuggling with her pup, Toots.
