Intro to CNC Operation
Weekend Class, Open to All
Summer 2025
July 19-20
This weekend course is designed to give folks a start on understanding and operating CNC machines. This course is being offered in partnership with local manufacturer Camp N’ Car at their facility in Port Townsend. The course is intended to be hands-on; each student will get the opportunity to set up and operate a CNC router and assemble a small project.
In this weekend class, students will learn the basics of CNC operation in a light industrial setting at local manufacturer Camp N’ Car. This course will not be a drafting class but will include some computer-aided design during the CNC setup and operation.
