Brendon Hohmann

 Brendon Hohmann

Brendon is a shop technician at PTSW and a self-taught woodworker, who got his start using hand tool joinery to construct furniture without glue or fasteners.

A Washington native, he grew up in the Skagit Valley, on the waters of Skagit Bay.  Most of his childhood days were spent exploring the beaches, jumping driftwood logs, looking for crabs under rocks, and climbing trees.   Brendon also grew up restoring antique automobiles in a family business and continues to use skills gained in metal fabrication and machine repair.

His interest in music eventually led him to become interested in violin making, which he is presently a student.  Brendon is also passionate about timber-frame construction, particularly understanding different layout techniques.

In addition to woodworking, he works with a small collective of farmers to implement infrastructure projects and as a farm mechanic.
